Born in the Adirondack Mountains on scenic Lake Champlain, my love for art began as a young adolescent. It became very natural for me to grab pad and pencil and copy cartoon characters, or send away for the free art lessons offered by the "Draw Me" ad on the matchbook covers.
I have been studying art for the past several years as well as enjoying photography. It is my outings with my camera that are my inspiration for my painting subjects. Whether painting the beach, roads, landscaping or an intimate close-up of flowers, my style has been described as "painterly realism".
I am currently residing in Plymouth, MA and am a member of the Plymouth Art Guild. Plymouth Community Arts Center and the North River Arts Society. I have exhibited in the South Shore areas of Boston including Cape Cod.
My family is the heartbeat of my life. I have been blessed with a very supportive husband, two wonderful children, their spouses, six grandchildren and two granddogs.
A freelance artist, I am currently accepting commissions for original art work. My favorite medium is Oil on Canvas. Send me your favorite photo and I can transfer it to a beautiful Oil on Canvas original to be treasured forever.
